We Match
We match the CDCP Fee Guide. If you are enrolled in the CDCP program, your fees will follow the CDCP Fee Guide, so you don’t need to worry about any fee differences.

Difference Between Fee Guide
The Alberta Dental Association (ADA) provides a suggested fee guide for dental services; however, clinics are not obligated to follow it. The government has established a separate fee guide for CDCP, which is lower than the commonly used ADA fee guide. If a clinic charges according to the ADA fee guide, CDCP patients will need to pay the difference out of pocket.
Dental Treatment (Example) | ADA Fee Guide 2025 | CDCP Fee Guide 2025 |
|---|---|---|
New Patient Exam - Permanent Dentition | $137.65 | $116.66 |
Bite-wing X-rays x2 | $57.33 | $53.93 |
X-rays : Panoramic | $106.61 | $101.53 |
Scaling 3 units (45 mins) | $250.53 | $240.9 |
Polishing 0.5 units (=7.5 mins) | $37.2 | $17.72 |
Fluoride | $36.05 | $32.3 |
Total | $625.37 | $563.04 |
At BDC Dental, we follow the CDCP fee guide, so CDCP patients do not need to pay the fee difference (e.g., $62.33 in the example above).
